Shy Keenan is a British author and advocate whose writing focuses on child-abuse experiences, trauma, and recovery. She is best known for the memoir Broken, and has also written the nonfiction book Where Angels Fear and the crime novel The Stolen Ones. She co-founded Phoenix Survivors and has used her writing and public work to campaign for victims of sexual abuse.
