Paul Holes is a former Contra Costa County cold-case investigator whose work helping identify the Golden State Killer brought him public attention. Since retiring in 2018, he has built a writing and media career focused on true crime, investigative case narratives, and memoir, including Unmasked: My Life Solving America’s Cold Cases, co-written with Robin Gaby Fisher, as well as audiobook and podcast projects about unsolved murders and serial predators.
