Priya Guns is a Sri Lankan-born, Canada-raised author whose short fiction has appeared in anthologies, gal-dem, Spring magazine, and the Guardian. Her debut novel, Your Driver Is Waiting, is a queer, socially engaged satire inspired by Taxi Driver and focused on class, race, precarity, and performative allyship. Her second novel, Hustle, Baby, follows a Tamil refugee family navigating poverty, scams, and survival.
