Gabriela Cabezón Cámara is an Argentine writer and journalist whose literary career began with the acclaimed novel La Virgen Cabeza (2009). She has since published novels, novellas, short fiction, and the graphic novel Beya, often combining social and political critique with inventive, poetic language. Her novel The Adventures of China Iron was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize, and her English-language novel We Are Green and Trembling won the 2025 National Book Award for Translated Literature.
