Michael Walker is a Los Angeles-based journalist, bestselling author, screenwriter, and playwright whose writing about popular culture has appeared in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, and other publications. He is best known for Laurel Canyon: The Inside Story of Rock and Roll’s Legendary Neighborhood, a national bestseller and source for the Emmy-nominated documentary Laurel Canyon. His other books include What You Want Is in the Limo and Delta Lady, co-written with Grammy-winning singer Rita Coolidge.
