Eric Idle is a British comedian, author, screenwriter, playwright, and member of Monty Python. He began writing professionally for BBC radio and television before co-creating Monty Python’s Flying Circus. His writing includes the novels Hello Sailor and The Road to Mars, the children’s audiobook The Quite Remarkable Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat, the memoir Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, and the stage musical Spamalot.
