Dave Itzkoff is an American author and culture reporter for The New York Times, where he writes about film, television, theater, music, comedy, and popular culture. He began his writing career at Details, Maxim, and Spin, and has written the memoirs Lads and Cocaine’s Son, the film-history book Mad as Hell, and Robin, a biography of Robin Williams.
