Saroo Brierley is an Indian-born Australian author whose memoir A Long Way Home recounts his childhood separation from his family in India, adoption in Australia, and eventual reunion with his birth mother. Co-written with Larry Buttrose, the book was published in 2013 and later adapted into the film Lion; Brierley has also published young readers’ editions of the story.
