As John Fram, he has written the queer supernatural thrillers The Bright Lands, No Road Home, and The Midnight Knock, and has contributed writing to The Atlantic and The New York Times. Under the Jack Friday name, he writes the Peter Key private-detective mystery series, beginning with Killer Vibes.
