Jeremy Narby is a Canadian anthropologist and author whose writing explores indigenous knowledge, Amazonian shamanism, ayahuasca, ethnobotany, molecular biology, and intelligence in nature. He is best known for The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge (1998) and Intelligence in Nature (2005), and has also co-edited Shamans Through Time and co-authored Plant Teachers with Rafael Chanchari Pizuri.
