Don Easton is a Canadian crime novelist and former Royal Canadian Mounted Police undercover operative who worked in foreign countries. Drawing on that experience, he created the Jack Taggart Mystery series, beginning with Loose Ends in 2005 and ultimately writing 13 novels featuring the undercover Mountie. His fiction explores morally complex investigations, organized crime, and international criminal networks, and he lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
