Robin Robertson (born 1955) is a Scottish poet, editor, and author from Perthshire who was raised on Scotland’s northeast coast and lives in London. He has published several acclaimed poetry collections, including A Painted Field, Swithering, The Wrecking Light, and Grimoire, and worked as a fiction and poetry editor at major London publishing houses. His narrative poem The Long Take, set in postwar America, won the Goldsmiths Prize and Walter Scott Prize and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
