Martin Marix Evans is an English professional writer, editor, and book packager whose writing career grew from publishing and illustrated guidebooks into military history. He is best known for accessible, visually informed books on the First and Second World Wars, including Over the Top, 1918: The Year of Victories, Passchendaele, and works on the Boer War and English Civil War. He has also contributed to battlefield preservation and chaired the Naseby Battlefield Project.
