Richard Fifield is a Montana-born novelist who earned an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. His debut novel, The Flood Girls, was published in 2016, followed by the young adult novel The Small Crimes of Tiffany Templeton in 2020. He also edited the Montana women's memoir anthology We Leave the Flowers Where They Are and volunteers as a creative writing teacher in Missoula.
