Ashley Elston is a Louisiana author who worked for many years as a wedding and portrait photographer before becoming a full-time writer. Her debut novel, The Rules for Disappearing, was published in 2013 and was a finalist for an International Thriller Writers Award. She has written several young adult novels, including The Rules for Breaking, This Is Our Story, The Lying Woods, 10 Blind Dates, and 10 Truths and a Dare; her adult debut, First Lie Wins, became a number-one New York Times bestseller and a Reese’s Book Club pick.
