Terry Sullivan is an American former prosecutor, criminal-defense attorney, and legal analyst who spearheaded the investigation and prosecution of serial killer John Wayne Gacy. He co-authored Killer Clown: The John Wayne Gacy Murders, drawing on his firsthand experience of the investigation and trial; the book became a Chicago Tribune bestseller. Sullivan has also worked as a writer for the Daily Herald and a longtime legal analyst for Chicago’s WGN-TV.
