Lindsay Jayne Ashford is a British novelist and journalist who began her writing career as a BBC reporter and freelance journalist. Her debut novel, Frozen, was published in 2003 and launched a crime series featuring forensic psychologist Megan Rhys. She later turned to historical fiction, writing novels inspired by real people and events, including The Woman on the Orient Express, A Feather on the Water, Through the Mist, and No Light but the Stars.
