John Bloom is an investigative journalist and author of nine books, including the Edgar Award-winning true-crime book Evidence of Love and the business and technology history Eccentric Orbits. He has been a three-time National Magazine Award finalist and a Pulitzer Prize nominee, and has also written humor and film criticism under his own name and as Joe Bob Briggs. He lives in New York City.
