Julia Drosten is the shared pen name of German writing partners Julia and Horst Drosten, who live in the Münsterland region. They have written together for many years, specializing primarily in meticulously researched historical novels set in places such as imperial Vienna, Morocco, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and South Africa. Their work has been translated into English and several other languages, including The Lioness of Morocco.
