Justin Monroe is a California-born author who began writing for fun and completed his first full-length novel as a high-school senior project. After careers in hospitality and as a stay-at-home father, he turned to fiction professionally, drawing on his lifelong interest in games, comics, science fiction, fantasy, and tabletop role-playing. He discovered the LitRPG subgenre while developing Zee Locked-In, the first book in his OVR World Online series, and later launched the Paladins of Power series.
