Eric Bernt is an American screenwriter and novelist whose writing career began in Hollywood. He wrote seven feature films, including Virtuosity, Romeo Must Die, Surviving the Game, and The Echo, and also wrote for television, including Z Nation. He later published the Speed of Sound thriller series, The Speed of Sound and The Sound of Echoes.
