Lauren Wilkinson is an American fiction writer whose debut novel, American Spy, was a Washington Post bestseller and received nominations for the NAACP Image, Anthony, and Edgar awards. She earned an MFA in fiction and literary translation from Columbia University, has taught writing at Columbia and the Fashion Institute of Technology, and has published work in Granta, The Believer, New York magazine, and The New York Times. She also writes for television, including Citadel, Life Undercover, Class of ’09, and Star Trek: Discovery.
