James William Kunetka is an American author whose writing career spans science fiction, speculative fiction, and nonfiction history. He co-wrote the post-nuclear-war novel Warday and Nature’s End with Whitley Strieber, and later wrote science- and atomic-age histories including City of Fire, Oppenheimer: The Years of Risk, and The General and the Genius.
