Whitley Strieber is an American author of more than forty fiction and nonfiction works. He began his writing career with horror novels including The Wolfen and The Hunger, later becoming widely known for Communion, his bestselling account of alleged encounters with non-human entities. His work spans horror, science fiction, paranormal nonfiction, and thrillers; several books were adapted into films, and his Alien Hunter series became the television series Hunters.
