Jason Zinoman is an American critic, reporter, and nonfiction author. He began as a theater editor and critic at Time Out New York before writing for The New York Times, where he has covered theater and comedy, as well as contributing to Vanity Fair, The Guardian, and Slate. His books include Shock Value, a history of modern horror cinema; Searching for Dave Chappelle; and Letterman: The Last Giant of Late Night.
