Tara Ellis is an author with more than 50 published books, best known for character-driven post-apocalyptic, survival, and thriller series with strong mystery elements. Her writing includes science fiction, young adult, and middle-grade fiction, and she also writes women’s literature and mysteries under the pen name Tara Meyers. She lives and writes in Washington’s Cascade Mountains, drawing on her former work as a firefighter/EMT, emergency-room technician, and 911 dispatcher.
