Michael Poore is an American novelist born in Dayton, Ohio, and based in Highland, Indiana. He has published the novels Up Jumps the Devil, Reincarnation Blues, and Two Girls, a Clock, and a Crooked House, his first book for young readers. His short fiction has appeared in publications including AGNI, Glimmer Train, The Southern Review, Fiction, and Asimov’s, with nominations for the Pushcart, Fountain, and Sturgeon awards.
