Libba Bray is an American young adult author and playwright best known for the Gemma Doyle trilogy, The Diviners series, Going Bovine, Beauty Queens, and Under the Same Stars. After working in publishing, advertising, and entertainment and writing plays, she published her first novel, A Great and Terrible Beauty, in 2003. Her work has become widely acclaimed, including the Michael L. Printz Award-winning Going Bovine, and she has also written short stories, essays, and additional plays.
