William Potter is a British writer, editor, and occasional artist who has worked in publishing for more than two decades. He began by writing and drawing comics, later editing licensed-character magazines and partworks, including titles associated with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Captain Scarlet, Marvel, and DC. He has since written more than 50 nonfiction, science, history, reference, and activity books for children and adults, including A History of the Americas.
