Sebastian Mallaby is a British journalist and nonfiction author who spent thirteen years at The Economist, covering international finance and serving as a bureau chief in Southern Africa, Japan, and Washington. He later joined The Washington Post’s editorial board and became a contributing columnist, while also serving as the Paul A. Volcker Senior Fellow for International Economics at the Council on Foreign Relations. His books include The World's Banker, More Money Than God, The Man Who Knew, The Power Law, and The Infinity Machine.
