Thad Diaz is a Tampa Bay author and retired firefighter who self-publishes the Cigar City Case Files, a series of hard-boiled detective mysteries set in Tampa and informed by his 25-year fire-rescue career. He previously wrote science fiction and fantasy under the name T. Allen Diaz, including space opera and other speculative fiction.
