BJ Bourg is a former law-enforcement professional who worked as a patrol officer, detective, police academy instructor, SWAT officer, sniper leader, and chief investigator for a district attorney’s office. He began writing short mysteries in the late 1990s and later turned to novels, drawing on his investigative and tactical experience. He is the author of the Clint Wolf, London Carter, and Magnolia Parish mystery series, as well as other crime novels, and now writes full-time in Tennessee.
