Lauren Baratz-Logsted is an American author who writes for adults, teens, and children. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as an independent bookseller, book reviewer, freelance editor, and writer. She began writing professionally in 1994, and her debut novel, The Thin Pink Line, was published in 2003. She has published more than 30 books, including the Sisters 8 series, which she co-created with her husband and daughter.
