Sam Sheridan is a Harvard graduate and bestselling nonfiction author whose writing career began with A Fighter’s Heart (2007), a memoir and travelogue about his experiences training and competing in martial arts around the world. He followed it with The Fighter’s Mind (2009), an exploration of the psychology of elite fighters, and The Disaster Diaries (2013), a narrative investigation of survival skills and disaster preparedness. He has also written for Men’s Journal, Newsweek, and FIGHT!, and later became a television writer and producer.
