Sam Genever is a pen name used by a South African-born poet, writer and thriller author. After working and studying in England, Genever spent more than 20 years writing under various pen names as a travel writer, columnist and journalist, while also publishing short stories, poems and travel journals. Genever has devoted the past 15 years to crafting crime novels and won the Joffe Award for Crime Writing; she now lives and works in Hong Kong.
