Daniel Hecht is an American novelist whose eight published novels include Skull Session, The Babel Effect, Puppets, the Cree Black paranormal-mystery series, On Brassard’s Farm, and The Body Below. He earned an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he also taught fiction writing, and his novels have appeared in numerous languages and editions. His writing career also includes nonfiction on environmental topics and a syndicated environmental newspaper column.
