Roy Johansen is an Edgar Award-winning, New York Times bestselling author and screenwriter. He began his professional writing career with the screenplay Murder 101, which won a national FOCUS award and later received an Edgar Award after being produced for cable television. He has written screenplays for Warner Bros., Universal, Disney, and MGM, and is the author of mystery and thriller novels including Killer View, The Answer Man, Beyond Belief, and Night Watch; he also coauthors the Kendra Michaels series with his mother, Iris Johansen.
