Stephen G. Michaud is an American journalist, author, and ghostwriter known primarily for deeply reported true-crime books. After beginning his career at Newsweek and later working as a science and technology editor at BusinessWeek, he coauthored The Only Living Witness and Conversations with a Killer, based on extensive interviews with Ted Bundy. He has also written or coauthored books about criminal psychology, serial killers, history, biography, national defense, and other nonfiction subjects.
