Darren Hudson Hick is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Furman University whose writing focuses on aesthetics, ethics, copyright, authorship, and intellectual property. He is the author of Artistic License: The Philosophical Problems of Copyright and Appropriation, Introducing Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art, and The Love of Analog, and coeditor of The Aesthetics and Ethics of Copying. His earlier work also includes editing, comic-book criticism, and graphic design.
