Vera Nazarian is an Armenian-Russian American speculative-fiction author, artist, musician, and publisher. She sold her first short story at age 17 and published her debut novel, Dreams of the Compass Rose, in 2002, followed by fantasy, science-fiction, and genre-blending works including Lords of Rainbow, the Cobweb Bride trilogy, the Supernatural Jane Austen series, and The Atlantis Grail series. She is a two-time Nebula Award finalist and the founder of Norilana Books.
