Christopher Huang was born in Singapore and moved to Canada after completing National Service. He studied architecture at McGill University and lived in Montreal for more than two decades before relocating to Calgary. His debut novel, A Gentleman's Murder, was named a 2018 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year; he has since published the standalone mystery Unnatural Ends and the Eric Peterkin historical mystery A Pretender's Murder.
