John A. Farrell is an American journalist, historian, and biographer whose writing career followed prize-winning work at The Denver Post and The Boston Globe, where he served as a White House correspondent and worked on the Spotlight investigative team. He has written acclaimed biographies of Tip O’Neill, Clarence Darrow, Richard Nixon, and Ted Kennedy. His biography of Clarence Darrow won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Biography, while Richard Nixon: The Life was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and won major biography and history awards.
