Jackie Collins (1937–2015) was a British-American novelist whose first novel, The World Is Full of Married Men, was published in 1968. She became one of the best-selling authors of popular fiction, writing provocative, fast-paced stories about sex, power, crime, wealth, and celebrity, especially in Hollywood and the entertainment world. Her major works include the Hollywood series and the nine-book Lucky Santangelo saga.
