Mary Kay Andrews is the pen name of Kathy Hogan Trocheck, a New York Times bestselling author of more than 30 novels. After a 14-year career as a newspaper reporter, including at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she left journalism in 1991 to write fiction. She began with mystery novels under her real name and adopted the Mary Kay Andrews name in 2002 with Savannah Blues, later becoming known for humorous, Southern-set fiction blending relationships, romance, and mystery.
