Her debut novel, Fortune Falls, launched a five-book young adult apocalyptic survival series inspired by her love of post-apocalyptic fiction and memories of the mountainous landscapes, lakes, and hot springs of New Zealand and Iceland. She is also the author of Novas and related Fortune Falls stories.
