Sophia Chang is a Korean-Canadian author, screenwriter, public speaker, and former music-industry executive. After moving to New York in 1988, she worked in record-label A&R and management, representing artists including RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Q-Tip, A Tribe Called Quest, and D’Angelo. She made her writing debut with the memoir The Baddest Bitch in the Room, an Audible Original about her career in hip-hop, personal experiences, and advocacy for women of color.
