Richard Price (born 1949) is an American novelist and screenwriter whose career began with The Wanderers in 1974. He is known for gritty, dialogue-driven portraits of urban America, including Clockers, Lush Life, The Whites, and Lazarus Man, and has also written for film and television, including The Wire, The Night Of, and The Deuce.
