Anthony Riches is a British author whose lifelong interest in military history, soldiers, psychology, and weaponry led to his writing career. After studying Military Studies at Manchester University, he began writing Wounds of Honour, the first novel in his Roman historical-fiction Empire series. He has since written the Empire and Centurions series, along with contemporary thrillers including Nemesis and Target Zero, and the Swords of Troy series.
