Steven Raichlen is an award-winning American author and journalist best known for his bestselling Barbecue Bible cookbook series and books on grilling, smoking, and global food culture. He has written for major publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Esquire, and GQ, and his books have won five James Beard Awards and three IACP Julia Child Awards. Raichlen also writes fiction: his debut novel, Island Apart, is a contemporary love story set on Martha’s Vineyard, accompanied by the audio work Steven Raichlen’s Martha’s Vineyard.
