Robert C. Mason is an American Vietnam War veteran and author. He began his writing career with Chickenhawk (1983), a bestselling memoir about flying Huey helicopters in Vietnam. He later published the memoir Chickenhawk: Back in the World and the technothriller novels Weapon and Solo.
